On a quest for spiritual awakening, a naturopathic doctor and an accountant journey to the Peruvian Amazon to drink the hallucinogenic brew called ayahuasca, the ‘Vine of the Soul’. Their encounters with the sacred medicine, both terrifying and ecstatic , raise questions about faith, mystical experience and self-knowledge through a heightened state of consciousness.
